四川美术学院是教育部批准的、重庆市教育委员会主管的具有高等学历教育招生资格的公办普通高等院校。学校具有学士、硕士、博士学位授予权，设有博士后科研流动站。现有黄桷坪校区、虎溪校区两大校区。学校坚持“志于道、游于艺”的校训精神，以“出人才、出作品”为特色，致力于培养具有国际视野和跨文化能力的艺术领域领军人才和高级专门人才。

Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SCFAI) is a public higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and fully supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission to enroll students for advanced degrees. The institute has the authority to confer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees and also operates post-doctoral research stations. The institute comprises two campuses: Huangjueping and Huxi. Guided by the motto “Seek Truth, Master Artistry,” SCFAI emphasizes “cultivating talents and producing masterpieces” and is dedicated to nurturing leading talents and high-level professionals in the artistic field who possess an international perspective and cross-cultural abilities.

一、申请资格

I. Eligibility Criteria

1. 申请人申请时须为非中国籍公民，身体健康，年满18周岁，具有高中学历。

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens at the time of application, in good health, at least 18 years of age, and hold a high school diploma.

2. 对于本人出生即具有外国国籍且出生时父母双方或一方为中国公民，或原为中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民、后移民国外并获得外国国籍的申请人，须符合教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文件规定，并按学校招生要求提交相应证明材料。

Applicants who held foreign nationality at birth and whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one of whom was a Chinese citizen, at the time of birth, or who were formerly residents of Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan and subsequently emigrated abroad and acquired foreign nationality, must comply with the provisions of MOE JWH [2020] No. 12 and submit the required supporting documents in accordance with the university’s admission requirements.

（1）申请人在外国出生时即取得外国国籍，出生时父母均为中国公民，或父母一方为中国公民的，申请人父母（中国公民方）须在申请人出生前取得外国永久居留权，且申请人须从2022年4月30日起至2026年4月30日止有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在国外居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

If the applicant acquired foreign nationality at birth and both parents were Chinese citizens at the time of birth, or if one parent was a Chinese citizen, the applicant’s parent (the Chinese citizen) must have obtained permanent residency in the foreign country prior to the applicant’s birth, and the applicant must have a record of actual residence abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026 (a period of nine months or more spent abroad within a single year counts as one year, as determined by entry and exit stamps).

（2）中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民外国后，作为国际学生申请人，须于2022年4月30日前取得外国国籍，且从2022年4月30日起至2026年4月30日止有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在国外居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

Residents of Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan who have immigrated to a foreign country must, as international student applicants, have obtained foreign nationality by April 30, 2022, and have a record of actual residence abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026 (a period of nine months or more spent abroad within a single year counts as one year, as determined by entry and exit stamps).

（一）材料要求

Material Requirements

所有申请材料须为中文或英文文本，其他语种的材料须附经公证的中文或英文翻译件。

All application materials must be in Chinese or English; materials in other languages must be accompanied by a notarized Chinese or English translation.

（二）材料清单

List of Materials

1. 外国护照首页（个人信息页）。申请人应提供本人护照扫描件（原则上护照有效期须晚于2026年12月31日）；如有担保人请附担保人身份证件复印件；目前在华的申请人还须提供所持的在华居留许可或签证。

The first page of the foreign passport (personal information page). Applicants must submit a scanned copy of their passport (which, in principle, must remain valid beyond December 31, 2026); if there is a guarantor, please attach a copy of the guarantor’s identification document; applicants currently in China must also provide a copy of their Chinese residence permit or visa.

2. 国籍证明材料。

Proof of nationality.

（1）在外国出生时即取得外国国籍的申请人，出生时父母双方或一方为中国公民的，须提供：①申请人出生即取得外国国籍证明②申请人出生前父母（中国公民方）在外国的永久居留证明。若无法提供，须提交本人的有关国籍证明文件③2022年4月30日至2026年4月30日间出入境记录。

Applicants who acquired foreign nationality at birth and whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one of whom was a Chinese citizen, at the time of birth must provide: (a) Proof that the applicant acquired foreign nationality at birth; (b) Proof of permanent residence abroad for the applicant’s parent (the Chinese citizen) prior to the applicant’s birth. If the applicant is unable to provide this, relevant documents proving their nationality must be submitted; (c) Records of entry and exit between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026.

（2）原为中国公民移民后加入外国国籍的申请人，须提供：①中国国籍退籍证书②中国户籍注销证明③加入外国国籍证明④2022年4月30日至2026年4月30日间出入境记录。

Applicants who were formerly Chinese citizens and have acquired foreign nationality after emigrating must provide: (a) A certificate of renunciation of Chinese nationality; (b) Proof of cancellation of Chinese household registration; (c) Proof of acquisition of foreign nationality; (d) Records of entry and exit between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026.

3. 出生证明。

Birth certificate.

4. 本人近期3.5cm×4.9cm免冠彩色照片（1张）。

A recent 3.5cm x 4.9cm color photo (1 piece) without a head covering.

5. 全日制高中学历的证明文件。申请人如为在校学生，须另外提交本人就读学校出具的在读证明。

Documentation verifying completion of a full-time high school education. If the applicant is currently enrolled as a student, a certificate of enrollment from their school must also be provided.

6. 高中阶段已修读的全部课程成绩单。

A transcript of all courses completed during high school.

7. 来华学习或研究计划。

A study or research plan for studying in China.

8. 推荐信。须提交两名就读高中教师的推荐信。

Letter of Recommendation. An applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from teachers at the high school.

9. 作品集。除申请艺术设计学、艺术史论、美术学专业无须提交作品集以外，其余专业申请人均须提交与申请专业相关的创作作品集，每件作品下方须注明作品名称、作品尺寸等相关信息。

Portfolio. Except for applicants to the subjects of Art Design, Art History and Theory, and Fine Arts, who are not required to submit a portfolio, applicants to all other programs must submit a portfolio of creative works relevant to their applied program. Relevant information, such as the title and dimensions, must be noted below each work.

10. 《外国人体格检查表》复印件。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间。

A photocopy of the Foreigners Physical Examination Form. Applicants must strictly adhere to the examination items specified in the Foreigners Physical Examination Form. Records that lack any required items, do not have the applicant’s photo affixed, or do not bear a physician’s and hospital’s signature and seal are invalid. Given that the examination results are valid for 6 months, applicants should schedule their physical examination accordingly.

11. HSK（汉语水平考试）4级有效证书复印件，被录取后须在到校报到注册时提交原件。

A photocopy of the valid HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Level 4 certificate; the original must be presented upon registration at the school if admitted.

12. 《四川美术学院来华国际学生入学申请表》。

Application Form for International Students to Study at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

13. 无犯罪记录证明。

Certificate of no criminal record.

14. 资金证明。金额不少于30000元人民币的当地货币存款证明。

Proof of financial resources. Proof of local currency deposits of no less than RMB 30000.

15. 个人简历。

Resume.

16. 个人获奖情况证明材料。

Documentation of personal awards.

注：无论录取与否，上述申请材料均不退还。

申请人须将所有申请材料在申请期间内，以“国别+姓名+申请专业”命名文件夹，发送至study@scfai.edu.cn。

Applicants are required to submit all application materials within the application period. Please name the folder as “Country + Name + Program” and send it via email to study@scfai.edu.cn.

如需申请重庆市政府外国留学生市长奖学金和四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金者，须一并提交《重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金申请表》和《四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金申请表》。

If you wish to apply for the Mayor’s Scholarship and the President’s Scholarship, you should also include the relevant application form: the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government International Student Mayor’s Scholarship Application Form and the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute International Student President’s Scholarship Application Form.

申请者须扫描二维码缴纳报名费400元人民币。无论录取与否，该费用不予退还。请务必在缴费时准确注明申请者的姓名和护照号码。

Applicants must scan the QR code to pay a non-refundable application fee of RMB 400, regardless of admission status. Please ensure that the applicant’s name and passport number are accurately indicated when making the payment.

四川美术学院将根据申请人材料进行申报资格初审，初审通过后，将组织专业评审组对申请人进行面试，主要考察申请人学术水平、HSK汉语水平等方面情况，按面试成绩排序录取。

SCFAI will conduct a preliminary review of applicants’ materials to determine eligibility. Those who pass the preliminary review will be invited for an interview conducted by a professional evaluation panel. The interviews will primarily assess the applicants’ academic abilities, Chinese proficiency (HSK), and other relevant aspects. Admission will be granted based on interview performance ranks.

正式录取通知书、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202电子签证表）将于2026年7月中旬寄发给被录取者。

The official admission letters and the Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202 eForm) will be sent to successful applicants in mid-July 2026.

七、费用

VII. Fees

（一）学费：人民币25000元人民币/学年/生。

Tuition: RMB 25,000 per academic year.

（二）住宿费按照宿舍房型，分为小床房900元人民币/月、大床房1000元人民币/月。可由学生自行选择。报到注册时须一次性缴清一学年住宿费。

Accommodation fees vary based on the type of dormitory room: RMB 900 per month for small bedrooms and RMB 1,000 per month for large bedrooms. Students may select their preferred accommodation. The full year’s accommodation fee must be paid in a single installment upon registration.

（三）教材费根据选课情况据实收取。

Textbook fees will be collected according to the courses selected.

八、入学报到

VIII. Enrollment

（一）入学时间：2026年9月，具体时间以《录取通知书》为准。

Enrollment Date: September 2026, with specific dates to be specified in the Admission Notice.

（二）被录取者应持普通护照、《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202电子签证表）前往中国驻外使（领）馆办理入境学习（X1）签证，并持以上材料按录取通知书上规定的时间到四川美术学院报到。

Admitted students must present their regular passport, Admission Notice, and the JW202 Form at the nearest Chinese embassy or consulate to apply for a study visa (X1). They should then arrive at SCFAI at the time indicated in the Admission Notice.

（三）入学时须提供正式高中毕业证书和HSK证书原件。

At the time of enrollment, students must provide original copies of their high school diploma and HSK certificate.

（四）购买保险证明。国际学生必须购买在中国境内的保险，至少要包括意外伤害和住院医疗两个险种。国际学生应向学校提交保险购买证明，证明应为中文或英文。未缴纳保险费的学生不予注册。

Proof of Insurance. International students are required to purchase insurance coverage that is valid within China, which must include at least accident and hospitalization medical coverage. Students must submit proof of insurance purchase to the Institute, which should be in either Chinese or English. Students who do not pay their insurance fees will not be registered.

九、奖学金申请

IX. Scholarship Applications

凡申请在我校攻读学士学位的国际学生，均可申请重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金和四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金，申请者年龄须在25周岁以下。在提交申请材料时，须一并提交《重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金申请表》和《四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金申请表》（见附件）。上述两类奖学金不可重复获得，最终获奖资格将依据面试成绩排序评定。

All international students applying for bachelor’s degrees at SCFAI are eligible to apply for the Mayor’s Scholarship and the President’s Scholarship. Applicants must be under 25 years old. Submit the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government International Student Mayor’s Scholarship Application Form and the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute International Student President’s Scholarship Application Form (see the appendix) along with other application materials. Applicants may not receive both types of scholarships, and final eligibility will be determined based on interview performance ranks.
